I own a commerical property in NY and I'ts perfect for banks.
I want to try offer them by myself , with out a broker, to lease it.
Who should I contact and what is the best way to do it?

Most banks have a real estate rep. Like CB Richard Ellis or someone. YOu can contact a branch & they can probably tell you who does the leasing...

While I think a beginner(with help from a lawyer) can do ok handling residential property, I think you should consult a broker to rent your commercial property. If it is a desirable property you should be able to negotiate the commission to a lower rate. Or you may be able to structure the commission so that they get the full rate if they get a tenant quickly.
