My husband and I are bickering about this. If you were to pour deer pee into the little black vents up by the windsheild of a car would that mess up someones heating/air conditioning system? If you wanted to mess up a heating and airconditioning system where would you have to pour the deer pee at in order for the person to smell it when they turn on the heater or AC? Can you help us solve our argument please, I say the little black vents outside the vehicle by the windsheild and he is saying no, it would have to be on the inside of the car. answers please

okay for those who said that we need more friends, we have friends, thanks! We have this game that we play, to see who is right and who is wrong, I think it is kinda fun. But thanks for your concerning words.......I can tell that you're real worried about others! :)

if you knew where the fresh air intake was (usually on the right side of the vehicle due to the blower motor being on the passenger side (us makes)) then you could pour some here, but you would have to make sure that you got it where it would stay.... the best thing to do would be to take off the blower motor, and put something inside of it that would spin inside of the fan that contained the substance that you want to permeate the air inside the car.

GOOD LUCK!!...

Actually, I believe it will work either way..in the vent or inside the car.....It will not ruin the ac or heater, but it will smell the car up, so bad that they may not be able to sell it. I had a friend that put a can of sardenes under the seat of one of his buddies cars and it took him months to find it. It was a wedding prank, the guy and his new bride had to endure the honeymoon with a car that smelled like sardenes.

Good Luck and Have fun

Is this the old "Limburger Cheese" trick? To make it effective it needs to go on the manifold or the heater box itself and the odor will bleed back into the vehicle! Can be accomplished under the seat also but it will be a permanent fix that might end you up in court buying the vehicle! What a dirty trick! I've even heard of "fish" being strategically placed for the same effect!

How would you get a deer to climb inside the car and pee in the vents in the first place?

Most vehicles draw air from below the vents on the OUTSIDE of the car on the passenger's side. (some even have filters there)

If the stink strong enough, it will draw the odor into the vehicle. (think of driving by a skunk)

Inside would be more effective, but outside it would work too.

Those vents have drain holes so rain and other liquids can escape. I think the smell would remain though. Dump some in and see. Human urine also starts to smell REAL bad after a few days, maybe that would be a little easier to collect.

It depends. If they use the regular part of the a/c it does indeed pull in air from those vents, so will get into the car eventually. If they use the recirc (or MAX) switch, it recyles air from inside the car, so it wouldn't.

you are correct, that is the fresh air intake for the heater/AC. someone must have really pissed you off to do that, it would take a long time for the smell to go away.

Why do you have jars of deer pee? You both should consider widening your circle of friends.

It wouldn't hurt the A/C system but it would stink up the car.I have done this before with "fart spray" It's a blast!!!
