A gravid goldfish will get really fat. The males will have white 'pimples' at the back of their gills. They spawn over grass.

Goldfish do not get pregnant! They are egglayers and need a male to fertilize the eggs when the female is stimulated to lay them. When the eggs hatch, you must feed very fine food to the babies or most of them will die.
A mature male has small white tubercules on his gill covers and the female does not. Females, when viewed from above are wider and heavier than males. The males tend to be slightly slimmer, but can still be big depending on the type of goldfish.
They are coldwater fish and need a lot of greens in their diet. They especially like duckweed (a small plant that floats on the surface).

every goldfish i ever had, just gotten fatter and they may be staying in a corner more than they usually do but other than that u really can't tell
however if u suspect it, then be watching very carefully because the babies will be very small and hard to see and she will eat them if u don't remove them from the tank
