Does anyone remember that a year ago the White Sox nearly choked away their huge division lead to the Indians and still won the World Series?
Note: I am not a Tigers fan I just felt the need to defend a team that has had a great season.

Regardless of who wins the series, the Tigers season has been great for baseball. Another positive has been the total colapse of the Red Sox. Funny how they have been complaining about all of their injuries this season. The built-in excuse factor!! The Yankees had to endure a lot worse and yet not a word. They just went out and won the division. I said it at the beginning of the season that the American league pennant would come down to the Tigers and the Yankees. So far so good!!!

Well, I'm an Orioles fan and we haven´t won since 1.983
At least the Tigers have managed to build a competitive team that will go (there's no doubt in my mind) to the post season. The Orioles are far away from having a strong team.

Well as a die hard fan I think there losing streak is a good thing they will make the playoffs as a 2ND seed or a wild card because the White Sox will not make it and since they know that they can be beat they will concentrate even more I hope they make it to the world series we'll see.

They're close to choking away their lead. But virtue will win over evil and they will hold on to the wild card position. The White SUX will go home with their tails between their legs.

Don't worry, the other Sox are tanking it big time. The Tigers will get in as the Wild Card and limp their way into the Bronx where they'll get sent back in caskets.
