Has anyone played this game and if so, what's your review of it compared to other things. And what is the typical age of those who play it?

I love Maplestory and I am waay over 15. It's fun, seems like a lot to learn to play a game though.

I have played this game and I'll rate it my way o.o
Pictures: 7/10, I don't know if the 2D side scrolling is your thing.
Gameplay: Decent leveling scale, gets harder as you go up. Currently gaining 10% an hour at level 60.
Classes: 8/10, only 4 classes, but different splits and multiple job advancements with an ongoing testing one in kMS (korean Maplestory right now) makes the game not old.
Originality: 10/10, Maplestory is really original with the faming and the mini games.
In Game Extras: 9/10, you have fame and mini games. They also have functions to talk to buddy, party, guild, and people near you easily. Keyboard functions are useful.
Rating: 9/10, good game.
As for typical age, I'm 13 and play it. I have a 40 year old friend that plays it. The age spread is wide, but the majority of people that play it seems to be 13-18.

maplestory is usually played at the age of 8-15 its pretty much a good game but the 2D gives me a headache.
