What kind of things do you expect a "world-class" company to deliver to you as a customer, even if that company is small in size.

Yes, "world-class" doesn't mean anything. My company DOES just say that to make itself sound more important. My goal is that if they're going to say they're world class, I want to tell them what that actually means to people, and what they need to do to do it. I'm kind of pushy. I'll either make management in six months or be fired. I don't really care which.

I ask nothing more than you deliver what you promise and express a verbal appreciation for my business. To be sure, there are dozens of other things a company could do, but me personally, I'd really just like to get what I paid for and go away with a sense that you're glad I decided to do business with you. I don't want to explain my decision, participate in your survey or get a birthday card from you.

that just sounds like something a company would say about themselves to make them sound better.
