Could be spark plugs, points, distributer cap with a crack, HT Leads, or even fuel blockage.

Million answers! Could be you don't have the distributor correctly installed. Electrical not correct. ICM burnt out. Some of these newer cars have to have "everything" hooked up like air intakes etc. Wrong fuel injector wire on wrong fuel injector. Without seeing the thing and checking it out the chances of an answer are nil to none! If an engine has fuel,air and spark it should run!

Are you sure the crankshaft and camshaft are properly aligned, you dontsay if you replaced it yourself. Could be the distributer, if you have points are they set up correctly. It could be the fuel pipe has not been purged also, you need to get all the air out.
If you have an ECU then are all the connections connected.
Just go through the basics.
Just one other thing, do you have enough charge in your battery to turn the engine over fast enough

Timing Belt? could be that the wire that feeds the voltage to the distributor is off. Really more info is needed. does it have points and condensor or is it electrionic ignition? To many varibles.....

Had one of these. Are you sure the emergeancy fuel cut out has not been tripped. Think the switch is in the boot.......good luck
