I just got a new computer and I am giving away my old computer. On my old computer I have Norton Internet Security 2006. I have 472 days left until it expires. How can I put it on my new computer? I don't have the the CD because I downloaded it off symantec store.

Nortons is the very worse garbage in the world. You are lucky that you are giving away your old pc. If you were to try and remove Norton you will be left with about 300 fragments attached to all your files and hidden all over your sytem. This will cause extreme conflict when you install a free or pay antivirus or spyware system.
I believe that they know their program is junk and when you remove their program they punish you with 300 plus fragments left in your system. And the best of engineers will play hell trying to get them out of your system.
For a one time fee of $29.00 get what I use and the Government of China uses.
Being a clinical psychiatrist I have a moral and legal obligation to keep my pc 100% clean from all virus/spyware/malware.

Will even find a virus in the installer wizard, like "Wise Installer". And will stop the installation while it is being installed and clean. Plus this program always will trace back who installed the trojan.

properly the Avast domicile version version 4.7 diidn't come interior the suitable 3 antiviruses of 2006 yet that deos advise that avast is not any more advantageous acceptable than norton. it concerns wat u are searching for. as an instance if u want a antivirus that contains spyware remover and firewall and antivirus protection then norton isn't a thanks to bypass. i love freedom, the loose antivirus that adelphia supplies u because after I did an finished gadget experiment on norton it ssaid i in reality had 4 then i deleted the viruses and the norton application and then put in freedom and did the completed gadget experiment it stated i had 6 viruses! so all of it concerns on wat u desire.

dude norton sucks. the best virus protection right now is nod 32 antivirus. it cleans everything. i bought a cd that has all latest antivirus of 2007(150$) and # 1 is nod 32. get rid of norton.

personally i wouldnt use norton or mcgaffee on any pc....there the first one hackers crack....go to downloads.com get bearshare(it allows u to get free programs) search for bitdefender version 9....u wont be disappointed it really protects ur pc....
