Not meaning that 1 race is more superior than another or that 1 race would not socialize with another, but that when it comes to marriage and offspring you would remain pure to that race.

We belong to the HUMAN race. According to genetics, two organisms that are close but distinct species might be able to mate and produce offspring, but those offspring would almost always be sterile (think of the mule, a cross between a horse and a donkey) If there were a real genetic basis that shows the races we have segregated ourselves into are actually separate species, then cross-breeding would result in sterile children. Since this does not happen, it shows we are all the same species, and the concept of race is a social construct and has nothing to do with reproduction. Purity is a false concept, supported by racists and bigots who hold onto the erroneous ideal of separation of cultures.

I wouldn't use the phrase "remain pure". People have different preferences and one is free to choose according to his/her own preferences. For example, some people are more attracted to their own race, more drawn to their own culture and background, and some prefers other races. If the ONLY reason is so that you can "remain pure", then I would say it's a little racist. Are others not "pure". It is merely preferences. Please be careful how you use your words. Otherwise, I don't see a problem wanting to marry your own race.

Yes. If that is your belief you are a racist. If your going to be a racist you should at least admit it and embrace it. Don't try to justify it by saying you don't think anyone is superior to anyone else.
In the end we are all a product of mix breeding. Our species is several hundred thousand years old. It's not likely that every "race" developed simultaneously on it's own without any intermingling of DNA.

Wouldn't it be better if we were all one race? Then, we wouldn't have to talk about this? What would be the benefits of having all these distinct races? Because that is the way it has always been??? I'm not talking about having the same cultures, traditions, and heritages, but what if humankind were a single race? Much more acceptance of each other.

No, it is not racist it is just misguided, there are no separate races, just one. (A dog is still a dog no matter what color it's fur is right?) This will be a moot point generations from now when everyone looks basically the same (except for a few isolated areas) because of globalization.

YES!! If the races weren't meant to mix, the Lord would not not have allowed the different races to develop when He ordered Adam and Eve to populate the Earth.

But all of humanity IS one race. Were we not all created by the same God? We are one family.

It is true that people have faced difficulties with marriages in the past - cultural and religious ones but these can be overcome.

We were all created equal and there should be no barriers between us.

I personally do not have a problem with that being that I had no choice in the matter and why it began I just know that the mixing occurred,If you can stay pure than do so but please don't look outside your purity and think of the rest as unworthy. turn your back to us if you must and leave us to ourselves, keep what peace of mind you have.

yes, the "races" mixed at least 100,000 years ago, there are NO pure races, and most likely never were.

Race is a social construct it has NOTHING to do with biology

We are all of one race, the human race.

Or do you mean the people who run the 100 yard dash should never think of getting married to someone who runs the marathon?
