ok first i am assuming its for constipation since you didnt say much detail ..if it is for that have you tried other things you can give them a prune tea its much better then prune juice and also a big teaspoon of karo syrup can help aid too ..or of course orange juice but it is very acidic so to much might give the runs hahah

so try the other things if you want ..
with one of my sons i make sure he has a glass of apple juice every day and it helps and with the other kids no affect goes to show that each kid is different

now if it was subscribed by a doctor he should have told you how but a two year old is gonna put up a fight most likely so maybe you can promise him a cookie and see if hell let you
but youll want to use a lubricant (NOT vaseline ) can gather germs and not hygenic somthin water based like womens k-y jelly ..and first just rubb it in to his opening slowly untill it is more plyable and then insert ( not far) follow directions on pamphlet carefully -make sure not to grab the sides of his opening can be painfull ..but better yet call your pediatrician he might have somthing you can give him orally im sure they might have childrens strenght ex lax or somthin --cuz a anal suppository should be last thing considered unless doctor has his reasons !! call your pediatrician and find out !!

maybe you can take him in and babies doctore can insert it for you too ...

If the baby doesn't have constipation then why are you giving it a suppository? Try raisins or apples to help it go if that's what you want.

lay your child on its left side, moisten the suppository with warm warm, lube the opening and very gently and slowly insert, then just lay with your child until it has to go, in future, get more fiber in them and check foods that may be causing constipation, also keep them well hydrated

Take a valium first...lol..
then make sure it is slick, so it wont hurt him. I usually cut the glycerine ones in half for my 2yr. old.
Use a glove, or wipe so you can hold your finger over the bum for a minute or so, otherwise it will pop back out.
And just try to sing, act silly to keep his mind off of what you're doing. Or if he understands , tell him it is medicine to make it all better! good luck

Yes, but make sure it is made for babys. They have them at any grocery store. It is not good to use them alot, do change your babys diet for future notice. I had this problem with my daughter.

Your better off buying plain old 100% cranberry juice. that way he can get the runs and poop it out on his own while cleaning his system in the process. its the easyest and healthyest way

why don`t you get an orange and squeeze the juices out and get him to drink it or put it with something else, you need to make sure he has the bits too ,this works well

ouch. i never had to do this for any of my kids. preferably, i'd let a doctor do it, or even a nurse.

but then i don't have the nerve to do that to my children.
