Well, Lets split this question into parts:
Part 1: What is Love?
It is a feeling that develops between 2 people over time and shared experiences & understandings!
Part 2: How to understand each other?
Communication is the key! Start saying things u feel... like may be: "I am feeling sad today!" or "I am feeling very lonely".... etc...
also the positive ones: like: "I feel so good today, I want to go dancing with you today!" etc....
Part 3: These will open up the gates between the 2 people to talk to each other about love.....
Start with small things, so that the change does not seem sudden: Saying things like: "You look nice today".... or may be just hugging the loved person...etc!
Gradually both of you will start understanding each other, even before you say things out!
