My favorite has to be Violator. Depeche Mode's seventh full-length album. This album is brilliant. It is a work of art and is the third in a series of their top albums. The last in a triptych. The album is ranked 342 in the 500 best albums of all times by Rolling Stones magazine. I love it because it was well thought out. The songs aren't random at all. It follows a pattern. The album starts off with a fall into drug abuse, depression and sex/violence. Then ends off with a total cleansing of body and mind. Truly a great album.

I have been a devotee (Depeche Mode fan) for more than 15 years and have more than 60 albums in my DM collection, including singles and bootlegged stuff, but Violator is still the one I listen to almost every single day.

I love their old stuff. I went to see them years ago in concert in Calgary. It was awesome.
