Yes. A friend's brother slapped his wife, and I'm not saying he was right, but I do say I don't blame him.

She said some terrible things to him in front of us about how he's got fat and bald and is unsuccessful at his job and then taunted him that she'd been f-cking a married man at church because he's such a lousy f-ck, and then she said it was his crummy genes that made both their children be handicapped.

Frankly I would have beaten her to death, so I think a sharp slap was getting off pretty lightly.

None should ever raise his or her hand towards another person. There is no excuse for behavior such as this. It is the responsibility of the person with the physical advantage over the other to control their emotions. If someone is assaulted they have the right to defend themselves without regard to sex. If they can avoid physical voilence while defending themselves they should. They could attempt to restrain the other person or separate themselves from the other person and if this doesn't work then they may need to fight back. It doesn't matter if the person is male or female.

This is off the record of course,

I do not condone hitting anyone, especially a women but by God sometimes people are asking for it and I can understand why it happens,

but any man who can walk away from a crazy woman without hitting her has balls of steel for sure. It is up to him to take control of the situation in order to avoid the physical altercation.

no-and its not fair that woman strike at men, and that -"that is okay or not looked poorly upon" but a man striking a woman and lordie all craziness breaks out. Two people in a relationship should not be striking at each other. If that's the case--its time to move on.

If a woman, not handicapped or mentally challenged can hit a man,she can get a hit right back. Im against physical abuse from either way but how is it okay for a woman to beat on a man, kick a man "there" (and he wasnt misusing it),ect and he not be able to hit back?

No because a woman does not have the strength that a man does.It would be better to leave someone you feel pushes you to want to be violent.

no never! but if is a case of self defense, that is an entirely
different situation. hitting can never be justified. other than that.
stepping back to let tempers cool down or walk away is best
thing to do.-

Since equal rights were invented to protect those who are not as strong as everyone else, no.
