No, gay marriage is a committed relationship between 2 people. It has nothing to do with polygamy.

How is polygamy a "two consenting adults" argument, lol? It's a "more than two" argument. I am for all four -- heterosexual couple, homosexual couple, bigamy, and polygamy (one male, multiple females; one female, multiple males; or a nice mixture of both), if that's what people want to do. It is NOT hurting anyone. So, even though you seem to want to point out that homosexual marriage is bad by equating it with multiple-spouse relationships, I'm not biting. By the way, I've been in a heterosexual marriage for 20 years and voted for George W. Bush the last two elections, so don't even try to tell me I'm a liberal hippie.

bigamy and polygamy are 2 different things. Marriage is a union between 2 people. I don't think gay marriage should be legal but then again why not?? I think that way because of my religious beliefs. But the government and church aren't supposed to be connected right? It's kind of a double edged sword if ya think about it. What other argument is there against these things other than religion?????

Polygamy DOES hurts people, it's part of a cult- not 'culture'. Same thing with Bigamy. Gay marraige hurts no one. Two people who are in love and wish to be together forever with the legal rights marraige affords, there is nothing wrong with this- What I think is retarded about "Gay Marraige" is that people are being classified based on sexual orientation, if not for that, homosexual people would be just like everyone else- accepted alike- how ironic is that...

Personally I don't think the government has any place dictating marriage rights to us, the people. In answer to your question, yes. If it's between two (or three, or four) consenting adults in their right minds, they should be allowed to marry. Who asked the government to be our parents? We didn't. Who does bigamy or polygamy or gays marrying each other hurt? Talk about a victimless crime...

Actually, it wouldn't meet the "two consenting adults" argument because there would be 3 or more. So every person that's part of that relationship would have to be consenting. And I really doubt that they would. If they say they are, I honestly believe that one of them would be lying.

several shining examples of the extent of the moral decay in this world and i am ashamed. I am sure that once the gay marriages are legalized ( I am sure it will someday it is inevitable) that other forms of reprehensible unions won't be far behind.
***I am not a gay hater, I just do not think that their union should be called anything other than a union or partnership. I do not think their union should be considered a marriage, that is reserved for a man and a woman who are united in God's eyes and for the purpose of procreation of the species.

True, and so should bestiality, and no age restriction on marriage, no family relationship restrictions on marriage, heck any social contract signed by a JP should be a marriage. Just because some people might find it abhorrent, that is no reason whatsoever it shouldn't be legal.
