What do you think of high density housing?

Do you like being crammed together, or would you prefer a detached house with a garden? (Further from the shops, detached are.)

people weren't meant to live in small boxes stacked up on each other. give me a house with a yard at the least, better yet, a house with several acers of land.

I'd rather be in a detached house with a garden. I've never lived in a cramped area, always in either a detatched house, or a semi. I wouldn't like to be too near other people, I need my space and privacy - I like to play my music without disturbing anyone :)
