Major differences in tidal range are due primarily to the physical layout of the area the water is flowing into. Think of the tide as a huge wave that travels around the earth following the moon. As this wave approaches a long, even beach, there is lots of room for the immense amount of water contained in this wave. However, if the wave is entering a bay which gets gradually narrower, the water gets pushed inward from the sides, forcing it to become deeper, resulting in a greater range between high and low tidal levels. This is the situation in the Bay of Fundy, which has one of the greatest tidal ranges in the world.

"Tides" refers back to the alternating upward push and fall of sea point interior an afternoon. What motives the sea point to alter? it is easily the gravitational charm of the solar and moon that reason waters of the sea to swell and recede at diverse factors of the earth. .
