My ex says he wants to be friends because we're such "good friends" now. He wants to sleep over and sleep with me. Says he loves me but wants to be "just friends". What does he really mean?

It means that he wants to have sex with you without being tied down by a relationship. The whole "best friends with benefits" situation. If he really loved you, he'd commit to a monogamous relationship with you and not want to keep his options open. Hope that helps.

He means he wants to be friends with benefits. This is by far the most hideous of all relationships. Basically, it's sex without any kind of attachment. I would tell him it is okay to be friends, but he will not be sleeping over or any of that!

He means just that. A friend with benefits. Deny him and look for someone who won't string you along and waste your time! Have some respect for yourself.
