Well, it is quite long, internationally seen, but also quite useless. The law can use the long arm to trace and point out criminals but the arm of the law, while long, is not really strong...they can hardly convict them!

Pretty long. Y'know what is funny? In my town, the police car no longer says 'to protect and serve' it says 'to protect and to serve with honor'. Hehe, i guess they got tired of people telling them what they had to do.

Much longer now with technology like radios, helicopters, forensics, and computer systems. Prior to the radio, it was much easier for criminals to get away.
