It's uncomfortable. You will bleed. It might be a little, it might seem like alot. I personally got pretty bad cramps but alot of people only get mild camps. I think the worst part of it is not understanding what is happening to your body, and the moodiness that comes along with the periods. It's not as big of a deal, but it does seem like it at the time. the second one is alot easier because you know what is coming.

When I got my first period I didn't know what was going on! I was scared and all I knew was that I hurt all over. But when I asked my aunt she just showed me where the pads were at and let me know that everything was going to be ok. Now I hate to get my period...sometimes it hurts so bad that I cry, but it's part of life and just to let you know, most of the time life sucks.

i got my period when i was 12 but it depends-some people get it when they are 11 and others when they are 12 while others when they are a 13-there is no magic number when it comes to the age of when you will get your period. when i got mine i was bleeding and had no camps..but you might bleed lighter or have cramps so what i can tell you does not apply to one person: it is not one of those one size fits all things!

I'm not going to lie to you girl. When I got my first period I thought I was just sick. I didn't even go to school that day. My mom told me to just sit in the bathtub. She thought I was sick too. It's not like a nauseous feeling but it's a pain that's lower in your stomach. It's just bad because you don't know what's going on. But then on your second period, you'll know what to expect.

Mine was suprisingly not that bad.............everyone complain that it is the worst thing ever. All u need to do is check ur pad mabey every 2 hours or when u feel most comfortable. And truth is no one knows when they will get their period so just sit back and relaxe and don't worry about that yet..........

Its not that big of a deal. I was 13 when I first got mine. You will bleed. You may get drowsy or cramps or headaches. But all in all you will see its not a huge deal.

I got mine when I was 12, but it's different for everyone. I kinda knew that it would be coming, since my mom had obviously told me all about it. But when it happened, I got kinda scared, even though I knew exactly what it was. But it's really not that bad, and you get used to it. Don't worry about it girl!

you will feel sore all over but that is normal. I had a condition that made my periods very painful. If you feel like that , tell your parents right away and see a doctor

I think I was 13. Its very uncomfortable at first because your not used to the feeling of it and the cramps are hell but they won't be so bad once you're used to them.
