Aside from what already has been mentioned you can also make use of a file shredding utility such as StompSoft's Digital File Shredder Pro, which will allow you to delete your browser history as well as cookies, temp files and cache.

Therei s an icon in your browser that looks like a clock. click on the icon and it will list your history by day and by week, right click at the top and delete history.'
You need to also delete cookies

you'd go to the history icon on top of where the url thing is. click on it. that'll open up the history panel on the left side of the screen. then go to the day you need to delete, right click, and select the delete option.

Download and install free CCleaner - small program which will wipe out history. And right click on Start/ Properties /Customize and Choose Clear button - for addresses

Go to "Tools", "Internet Options", "General" and click on the "Clear History" radio button to delete website activity.

Go to "Tools", Internet Options", "Content" and click the "AutoComplete" radio button. All your options are there relating to searches, usernames and passwords.

Uncheck "Web Addresses" and "Forms" to stop AutoComplete for searches.

should be under c:documents and settings/ur pc user name/ history...click on it and delete where it says todays (or anyother days).
