They are genuine, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. You have to make lots of sales, going round in all weather, to make anuy kind of a living. It is fine as a part time job, but difficult to make a living unless you are lucky - as it is very much sales dependent.

There are many bogus companies out there, but Kleeneze is a reputable one and if that is what you want to do, then great, go for it. But dont expect easy money for doing very little. you have to work at it and you will reap the benefits.
How are you going to work your business, once you register with them ? Done properly and you will do well. Done the wrong way and you will fail or make little money...
Its not usually the company thats at fault but the person involved i.e YOU
Kleeneze is all about Network Marketing and customer Direct Selling, so read up on these subjects, learn about it carefully
I spend a lot of my time learning about these subjects, when building a business.
If you are serious about Kleeneze or Network Marketing in general, mail me and I will help you where I can (P.S. I am not a Kleeneze rep, by the way)
You may also want to look here, where you can get in contact with 1000s of like minded Network Marketers. Its FREE to register too...good luck

Don't know about Kleeneze, but my future mother in law does Betterware. She works in all weathers putting books through doors, getting abuse off people and she does it everyday (including the time at home to gather the orders she gets). For the work she does she gets about £50 -£60 per week, equal to about £3 per hour as an average.
It is really not worth the time and effort, she is often stressed and mucked about by the company. I certainly wouldn't be forking over a potential £200 up front to only get about £50 per week back.
If you do decide to go ahead though, good luck.

Go for it! MY wife and I have been involved with Kleeneze for 5 yrs - no we're NOT touting for business! You have to be prepared to give it AT LEAST 9 - 12 months to build up a reasonable customer base, if you're only thinking about 'giving it a go for a couple of weeks to see what happens' forget it!. Some may do it quicker, some take longer - it all depends on your work ethic, discipline and current circumstances. You can work at your own pace and generally where you want. Yes you wiill find other Distributors in the area - treat them as you'd like to be treated yourself, ie. no poaching / pinching their books or orders ... as for customers, if they decide they prefer to do business with you, thats to your advantage. If you can provide a friendly, personal and professional service to the customer, you will always win - you might not always get big orders, but every order counts. Yes you will find the odd Victor Meldrew from time to time who'll hurl a tirade of abuse at you, or throw your book in the bin - so what, cross him off your list and don't go to him again.
You won't get ripped off, everybody who starts with Kleeneze has to pay a registration fee of £75 to obtain an account with the Company - the additional costs are for extra catalogues to help get you off to a better start ... the more you put out, the quicker you return your initial investment. As its a franchise type of opportunity, you'll be working for yourself and not the Company as someone incorrectly pointed out. The people who sign you in are effectively your guides and help-line, its up to them to teach you the most successful way to operate your business.
If you're still doubtful, check out the DSA website (of which Kleeneze is a founder member), Kleeneze's own website http://www.kleeneze.co.uk and check out as much as you can from the horses mouth so to speak.
Good luck and go for it.

Of course you have to pay money to open any form of Franchise, Kleeneze included.
If you want to run a simple business, go for it, if not, don't.

Be absolutely certain its what you want to do because the reps will paint a rosy picture but its not true. It involves hard work and the returns may be low most of the time. You have to deliver stock to people and buy your own catelogues etc.. are the negative sides. But if you are ready to work hard may be in the long run when you become a manager or a team leader you get a better income. Like one of the answers above AVON and BETTERWARE dont charge you for the catelogues so may be wiser to consider them too. But whatever you decide on give it your best shot you wont fail.. best of luck mate

I wouldn't do it, I get the kleeneze booklet put in my letter box every few weeks. the prices are only average, you can buy the same things with ease in loads of shops. you would have to sell a lot to make good money. And if you have to pay to sell there stuff you can see how they make their money!

I have no experience as an agent on this. but if I were to even CONSIDER this opportunity I would do a lot of ground work first.eg; does anyone else do this in your area? you must not try to steal their rounds!
Do you know enough contacts willing to buy this commodity?
How much time do you have to spend on project?
do you have transport? petrol costs etc
do you really fancy tredging the streets at all times to deliver the catalogue & go back to collect a potential small order?
in other words Please Think Twice before you may be ripped off again.
Good Luck with it.

Kleeneze always used to be a very reputable firm, but I personally wouldn't pay anybody anything. It's one thing to speculate to accumulate - speculators only pay out what they can afford to lose - but the idea is for your employer to pay you for working for him, not for you to pay him to give you work!
