Chances are 50-50. You could try all the old wive's tales, but the chances of being right are still going to be 50-50. The only way to know for sure is an ultrasound or amniocentesis.

according to some weird supersticious stuff it will most likely be a girl. january is when most girls are born. but go get a sonogram. if its due in jan u can tell by now

hm... there's this superstition that i heard that if the mother is blooming and radiant during pregnancy, she's gonna have a girl. if she's not, its a boy. and there's this other one that i heard of: if her nose kinda gets a bit fatter, its a boy. i have no idea how those superstitions took form. it's actually quite funny when you think about it...

try this. get a needle and thread .thread the needle like your going to sew. put it over moms tummy. if the needle swings in a line its a boy, in a circle its a girl. its worked for me with my kids
