Have you ever thought that maybe you have some sort of self esteem issue? If you can be insulted or offended by a "non common sense" answer to a question, then perhaps you were only asking said question because it was something you felt insecure about and needed reassurance. You weren't reassured and are now feeling even more insecure and that's why you are asking this question.
