Isn't marriage a sort of idealistic fantasy for the young? What would lure you into wanting to tie the knot more than once?

Tie the knot with the same person or different? I think reinacting your marriage vows is romantic, esp. if it is like a 10, 20, 40 yr. anniversary. As far as getting married again....being divorced, I hope that there is still a person out there that would want to marry me and be committed the rest of their life despite the fact that the first ran out and left me. Not my fault. Don't I get a second chance?

I have no idea why anyone would marry more then once. My husband is so great, if anything happened to him, I'm not sure I could get back out there again. I mean, I just don't think I could find anybody more kind and caring and loving then he is.

Because the government makes it appealing to be married-tax breaks, medical and benefit coverage....
I swore I would never get married again. I was for 18 years to an a**hole! But this man I got now, I have considered it, but would never tell him that. I could see us doing it sometime down the road...
there is no hurry though.
i dont want the good sex to end...

sometimes in life people think they have found love and sometimes it doesnt mean that they are in love with that person. I was married before my husband now, and with my ex husband he did a total turn around and became abusive, it took me six years after my divorice but i finally found the man i want to grow old with and spend the rest of my life with. just because one doesnt work doesnt mean to give up HOPE.....I didnt and now I am married to the man i LOVE!!!!!

You have obviously had a bad experience. Don't ruin life for everyone else. Marriage can be a wonderful thing even if it is the 2nd time around.

Nobody should want to get married more than once. Divorce is not something you should aspire to have on your resume.

because some people don't want to spend their life alone are maybe the thought about dying alone scares them so they marry
