I FIND MY LADY EXCITING, NOTHING REALLY FRIGHTENS ME ANYMORE, SATISFYING IS A LONG CRIUSE, DESIREABLE IS DOING ANYTHING WITH MY LADY, DANGEROUS IS GETTING UP EVERY MORNING AND DRIVING THE HIGHWAYS AND BIWAYS OF LAS VEGAS. WHO ARE YOU CALLING MIDDLE AGED? Oh, it must be me. OK, here goes.
1. For fun, I usually hike, go out to dinner with friends and read. I now find clubbing boring.
2. I find interesting people who are similar to me in interests and tastes exciting. As you get older you do not find as many "friends" out there as you do when you are younger. It is exciting to find some who can be a good friend.
3. I do not find as much frightening as I did when I was younger. I guess the most frightening thing is the fact that many of our parents have gotten to the state where they cannot do things for themselves. That is very frightening thought: Not to be able to take care of yourself.
4. The older I get, I find more satisfaction with the things I have rather than wanting different, better, newer things. Having people who love me is the most satisfying thing in my life now. So many people don't as they get older. Parents die, siblings move away, etc.
5. Good health and security.
6. Not much anymore. I find the usual things dangerous of course, i.e. drunk drivers, speeders, etc. but I do not find much else dangerous.

Your definition of "middled age" is a little askew.
Be definition of Middle age this is the span from around 40 to 65 in the Western Societies
