U cant delete ur yahoo answers, yahoo messenger, yahoo 360 or any other yahoo service account individually. If u wish to delete ur account, u shall hv to delete ur full yahoo account.

Please click the above link and then click on account deletion in the third last para of the page. A new window will open and will guide u further in solving ur problem.
Or Go to https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
and click on terminate account.
It will solve ur problem.

About the simpliest way to delete your yahoo account is by simply not using it. I'm not sure how long a period of time that it is, but after awhile, you will be deleted. That, by the way, is how it is done with Hotmail, and very likely Yahoo would perform in the very same manner.

If you do not log in or use the free account for 30 days it will be deleted automatically by Yahoo!@

Do not log into your account for 90 days and it will get deleted.
OR
To close your Yahoo! Mail account:
Visit the Terminating Your Yahoo! Account page.
Type your password.
Click Terminate this Account.
If you delete your Yahoo! Mail account, you also lose your Yahoo! GeoCities page, your My Yahoo! settings, your Hotjobs profile and other data in services belonging to the Yahoo! empire. by the way the " if you don't log in for a period of time " "don't use your account " all those things.. is crap.
your account can lay dorment for years.
just log in.. go to that link... they'll ask for your password and you may have to confirm the password again by logging in again.. then just say yeh deleted it i'm sure.
read the terms some things still stay active for a period of time.
oh and your 360 page will still be up.
so if you don't want that you got to manually delete your 360.. it's a pain in the anus but it stays long after your account is terminated.

It's written in the Bi-Laws. Your screwed. Nothing you can do or try will let you delete your yahoo account. The only way out is suicide.

thats one way. just forget about it, it will become inactive and eventaly delete its self. i cant think of a way to explain the other way
