When I say young, I mean a 10, almost 11 year old. I need a very light color, but that will make her convidence level go up because she's wearing it. Please, give me a site I can go on, and not too expensive.

No makeup is the best, there is nothing as good as a fresh look, trust me when you get to my age (which isn't that old by the way... 25). You crave the days when you could get away without wearing any make up. But if you must then try Botanics which is the cheapest I know of (but I'm sure ther are some out there ), No.7 , Revlon(if you want to treat yourself) and if you want to break your bank balance then try Benefits makeup. If you are unsure just ask for sample sized packs to try out first most department stores have those. But you can also try supermarkets and pharmacies. Your skin is still growing and sensitive so pick the sensitive skin options .
Foundation tends to clog the skin, just remember to wash, cleanse and moisturise everyday oh! and don't forget to exfoliate regularly. Good Luck and Enjoy your youth you can never have it again.

No offense, but my opinion is that 10 year old girls should not be wearing makeup. Don't start clogging her pores at this young age. She's 10 - her skin is young and fresh and beautiful. She has plenty of time to ruin that when she gets older. If she has low self-esteem, find out why. What's bothering her? But, if she's absolutely adament, try a tinted moisturizer. Better yet, give a light colored eyeshadow and teach her how to use it sparingly.

OOkkk your reading a real expertise on young girls make up (for I my self is 12) lol no Im 12 and a half! Lol ok anyhow, tottally go check out covergirl at covergirl.com! Its sooo rad! You can put make up on a fake eye, and learn which colors match you the best! It rocks! You can also talk to a REAL cosmotoligist and you can ask her anything! You can find covergirl at like Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target....etc! But some personal expericance, do not try eye liner because 2 reasons:
its difficult to put on if you dont know how and it can reaally hurt
and
it can make your eyes TOO black bc she wants a light color.

g'luck

well yes like you have been told 10 is young and if she does were a powder at this age she wont thank you in 2 years time when she is full off spots but if you are adament a very goos one is remmel clear complexion it is better for the skin than regular make up
good look and if it is confidence she is lacking i would say instead of make up go for the full hair thing extensions, layers, stepped fringe, featherd, and if she is a brunette some blond highlights
oh and you can pick the make up for around $3

I'd try Clinique's tinted moisturizer (http://www.clinique.com/templates/products/sp_shaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY4918&PRODUCT_ID=PROD7982). It adds a little color but is oil free, doesn't clog pores, and moisturizes. You may want to get her on a good skincare regimen so that when she does start producing excess sebum, it may not be such a problem for her. Bonnie Bell is also good for lipgloss and to play around with.

claires has awesome stuff that is pretty cheap, especially when they have to 10 for $5 sale. its more fun to go to the store and pick out ones with pretty cases (the cell-phone lip gloss holder is popular for younger girls).

just remember she is like 10 so keep eyeliner and lipstick out of the picture. good luck!

Look at the "L'Oreal" section of the cosmetic area for the store and look for a makeup base with a WATER-BASE. The reason I mention "L'Oreal" is that it is the sister company of "Lancome Cosmetics" which is an extremely fine line of cosmetics, especially their treatment line.

Depending on the coverage you want. Go to www.idbareminerals.com. I don't use anything else, it is light enough that you don't know it's on your face. My daughter is also 11, and she loves this makeup!!!
