i have a lot of pain above my pelvic..... and i had a somewhat normal period that stoped two days ago and now im bleeding again with treamendous pain in my abdomen....im going to the doctors after work because im the only one here at the office right now so i cant leave i was just wondering what it could be so i could have somewhat an idea of whats happening

Cystic ovaries can hurt like hell. If it is one-sided, depending on which side you are ovulating, that may be a clue. An ultrasound would diagnose that. Like the other nurse said, an infection could be the culprit. They will probably do an exam and take a urine sample. Has it happened before? Sorry you're going through it. Glad you're heading to the docs. Take something for pain if it all checks out and get some rest, okay? Best of health to you!

Poly cystic ovary can also be a reason, as mentioned by the other answerer. If that turns out to be the problem, e-mail me for some info on prevention.

man.. that must be terrible.. you cant ask normal people about thaht.. you have to see a doctor.. go at night to the emergency partition of the hospital. They won't take long and you can assure they'll be open.
