My partner and i had an appointment in town today, we live apx 12 miles from town, my partner's workplace is apx 3 miles the other side of town, she left for work as normal this morning (in her car) She asked me to pick her up from work then run her back. I replied NO you drive in to town and we'll meet. SHE'S STILL GOT THE PIG WITH ME!!!

1. There is no way for anyone but you to know if you were in the right to say no, because we do not know the dynamics of your particular relationship.

2. Why is this a question for the 'ladies'? Do you imagine that only women have issues like this with their partners?

it's only 3 friggin miles...pick her up so you can go together. Did you ever think that maybe she just might want to spend the extra little bit of time with you? Then again with that attitude I cant imagine why.

im not being funny,just blatantly honest, but if you have to ask this question here in order to feel justified for saying NO, therein probably lies your problem...youre saying something but not feeling ok and solid and secure about it and she probably senses this in you and so its easy to make you feel guilty...say what you mean and mean what you say...she'll get used to it...hope this helps :0)

right or wrong doesn't matter but you have the right to say no to anything you want to and she has the right to get the hump about it. just drop it and she'll forget about it. is it worth the candle?

It wouldn't have hurt any thing, for you to pick her up, she probibly had plans to surprise you with, and you just blow it. good goen, lol. think before you speak.
