YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT carry-on liquid or gel makeup on an airliner over the United States.

My wife had all her makeup confiscated on a recent flight to Denver.

The TSA regulations are completely without logic, but "What ya gonna do?"

One quarter ounce of makeup is not going to take down an airliner.

Put your makeup in your luggage if you wish to keep it.

The United States Department of Homeland Security has determined that terrorists will not attack an airliner without their makeup. I feel better already.

I flew to denver two days ago.

They allow lipstick and chapstick (solids) but not any liquid makeup.

In the two airports I flew out of, they only check your bag at security.
They do not search you at the gate. Its all honor-system once
you pass through security. And I don't think they can detect non-metallic items in your pockets at security.

My recommendtion is to check anything you're doubtful about.

They do have some allowances for prescriptions and other "medical" required things.

No liquids on the plane except medicine under certain circumstances.

Don't think you can sneak it on.

I would put them in my checked luggage to be safe. I will be flying to Denver soon, myself and I think that is what I will do.

You should call your airport and check. It doesn't seem like this will be a problem.
