If you are talking about a yahoo account, Yes you can have at least 5 alternated email address added to one account .. Even though you will still have one that is the main, you can have 4 other (alternated ones) check out your account..

If you are talking about your Yahoo account, I believe you should be able to add an identity. Then you should be able to make the new identity your primary account. The new id would be your new e-mail address.
