I think we are all or have been a racist at one time or another. Good thing is that we have self-awareness and able to choose for ourselves. So we can choose not to do evil and respect all race. I grew up with racist background but I know I have no right to think that I'm better than anyone, not even to a homeless person, because my skin or my background is different. What insane thinking is that to think that I'm better than someone because I'm born with lighter/darker skin than the next person. It's the a ssholes I don't like but color of the skin, education, nationality is what we are and not categorized as who's better.

I agree with Dave about flipping the percentages.
I think there's a fine line between the perceptions and pure racism sometimes, though.
I've literally had racism thrown in my face, and I've seen pre-conceived notions squashed by people with those notions having enuf sense to open up and ask intelligent questions to the people they have those notions about and/or spending some time with them.
I wish more people would do that. I think it would knock alot of this stuff out.
Thanks for the great question!

A true racist action I believe is when a person is born into racism and know nothing but one point of view, but when a person is surrounded by different people culture and mean of knowledge like internet tv ect then its is skewed preception, because we learn it from a friend or someone implant this crazy notion in your head or you just see something that triggers some hate in your mind. As far as percentage i feel its 3% racism and 97% skewed preception

I believe that racisms depends on how a person has been raised and from their experiences with the other culutures. I admit that sometimes I do seem racists and I dont like it. There is good and bad in every race.

all racism is the result of skewed perception. And I would describe skewed perception more simply as ignorance.

I agree with you. Many people just take things the wrong way, or are really into thinking everyone is against them.

i think of the be conscious you're finding for is "exacerbate". confident - a faux cry of "racist" from a liberal exacerbates racism As does a faux cry of "racist" from a conservative. i don't think of "racism" may well be "exasperated" - "racism" would not have emotions, experience discomfort and so on. "Racists" can grow to be "exasperated" whilst they are observed as out as such. Liberals and Conservatives.

I'd switch the percentages, but I think you make a valid point.
