I want to put an e-mail address out there to see how many people would e-mail me or if anyone would? Is that not possible and if not why?

Why would you want to open yourself up like that ?? They will defiantly write and you may get more spam than you bargained for. you can post it here, but yahoo may take it down, I hope you find what you seek.

as a general rule, it's good not to post your email at all if possible. I've seen people type things like "my username@yahoo.com" or markharris-at-adelphia-dot-com
to disguise it.
