A true zebra pleco (I believe the L# is L046) is a very expensive fish. They have stopped exporting them from South America to give the fish a chance to recover from over collecting by the locals.
If you could find one or two it would cost you in the neighborhood of $100 each. To start a breeding colony, you would need to have about 6 to make sure of having members of each sex. Until someone starts breeding the ones that are in the US right now, they will not be available at any decent prices in the near future.
Whoever said they got two for $15 each probaly did not have the true zebra pleco. Even at wholesale prices, they were over $30 when they were available, and you have to have a vendor's license to buy them wholesale.
Good luck finding them! I would start with something a little less hard to get like the Queen Arabesque pleco. It is also a beautiful fish and can be purchased for about $6-8 wholesale (that means it would be about $18-25 retail).

Generally a L-46 (true zebra pelco)will run you $200-300 range, and are hard to find to boot. (Thats not to say you can't find them for less by dealers who don't know it's rarity, or it there is glut of them on the market.) If you buy online be sure you buy from a reputable dealer with a good return if it dies policy. Other wise you might be rather disappointed.
Also you might want to consider a L-260 (aka Queen Arabesque), or any number of pelco in the $20-30 dollar range.
PS- Personally I'd not by this type of fish are they are all wild caught. They won't do as well in a tank as a tank bred fish. Also you'd be amazed how many fish die in the process of getting that one fish to you.

Check with a local pet store to see if they can order it for you--shipping fish through the mail is risky and expensive. Zebra plecos are a little harder to keep alive than regular plecos anyway.

why are you wanting to buy online? your best bet would be to get a local pet dealer to order one for you. the last price i knew of they cost around 30 dollars or more. also to order you will need the scientific name.
