I think you mean gall stones and yes i have had this. This is farly common and unfortunatly there isn't alot to do about it until baby comes out unless you are still very early along and they are severe. Many women find out that they have gall bladder problems during or shortly after given birth for some reason this is just kinda when it shows up. The idea is because of the extra calcium is what triggers the problem same with kidney stone problems during pregnancy. talk it over with your Dr. and I feel for ya.

I assume you mean gallstones. That being the case, yes. Well, actually, I was diagnosed w/gallstones when my son was around 7-8 months old but I had the first gallstone attack when I was 6 months pregnant. It was so painful and despite it not feeling like I imagined contractions would I was terrified that I'd gone into labour!
Have you had an attack and been diagnosed? If you have had a gallstone attack then you should speak to your doctor about your options. For me, since I wasn't diagnosed until after I'd given birth, I simply had my gallbladder removed and this may be the best option if you can wait.
If your condition is more urgent and you're having regular attacks then there are other treatment options available that your doctor may reccomend. One of these is an x-ray therapy called ERCP and it has been found safe during pregnancy according to one study. With this procedure they take as few x-rays of the abdomen as possible to locate the stones while monitoring the fetus. Then a scope is inserted through the mouth and down to remove the gallstones.
But, the best option should be determined with your doctor. One thing I found that helped immensly was to limit intake of fatty foods. Thanksgiving and Mother's day were terrible for me as I indulged in those types of foods and that got my gallbladder working which caused long, painful attacks that even Vicodin barely touched. Even eating pizza would do it. So, take care and good luck!

Yes! While Wilma Flintstone was pregnant with Pebbles, Fred took her golfing. Golf balls had not been invented yet so Fred told her to use her golf 'stones' in her bag.
She shot a decent 89 that day... 3 strokes better than Fred!

Do you mean gall stones? They can develop in your gallbladder. they're deposits of calcium in the bile produced in your liver. It usually isn't something to worry about unless they get in the way of the gallbladder doing it's job; it's basically a gland that holds the bile from your liver before it goes into your stomach for digestion. Unless the gallbladder can't do it's job from the gallstones, you'll be fine.
I have heard many times from women that soon after they have the baby, they have problems with their gallbladder and it needs to be removed. it's a simple surgery that they can do laparoscopically (through the belly button), recover is not any worse than having an appendix removed.
Hope you feel better!

I had gall stones while pregnant. Nothing they will do til the baby comes. Basically you're be uncomfortable for a while. Depending on whats going on and how many you have will depend on if they remove your gall bladdar or not.
Good luck

Do you mean gall stones? Yikes, that's so painful. My sister in law had kidney stones and just had to wait to be treated.
What does your doctor recommend? Gall stones can be removed without big incisions.

Do you mean gallstones? I would talk to your doctor to see if there is anything you can do to change your diet that would help maybe cutting certain foods out of your diet would alleviate the pain. Eventually they pass, but it's supposed to be really painful. Only your doctor can tell you for sure how to fix this problem.
Check out the link below, it is an article on gallstones during pregnancy.
