Definitely not. Yes, there are a few women out there who have strong enough features and skin to carry it off but on the whole no one looks better when they don't have a scrap of it on their face. I also find that it is always the women who need it most who don't actually wear any.
How can a woman put on some lovely clothes, do her hair really nicely but then not bother with her face but still expect to look her best? Sorry but the three things go hand in hand and unless they're allergic to it or something, women ought to realise that by not wearing makeup, most of them look like they've just woken up in the middle of the night. Horrible!

My partners happy no matter what i do. I dont wear it through the day much unless were doing something and then its just suttle, which makes it great fun to do when I go out, make up is fun and it finishes an outfit off and when you've finished messing and its gone wrong wipe off and try again, but my partner thinks I look my best in a morning fresh faced and beautiful, and then on the other hand when I,ve put make up on he says my eyes sparkle so I suppose women can look great either way.

well as a woman , i don't really care too much, how other women paint or don't. i have never been into makup , and only occasionally wear it , when the fancy takes me - or if i am having a bad skin day. i do know a lady , who allways wore this bright blue eyeshadow,which i thought was a bit dramtic. one day she was running late and came into the office to put it on. I understood why . it is natural for all of us to be proud of how we look and to make the most of what we have. she had blue eyeshadow. I know that sounds bi8chy , but really to get on in this life, where realistically and unfortunately , a lot of emphasis is put on one's looks, sometimes makeup can be a blessing.

Like AFwife said, its sometimes not possible to tell whos wearing makeup and whos not. You may think 'Oh shes pretty and shes not wearing any makeup!' but really she could be wearing pounds of natural looking foundation to cover blemishes and pale skin, black mascara to enhance her eyelashes and you would be none the wiser. 90% of women you pass in the street are wearing some form of makeup, unless you actually live with a woman 24/7 you don't know if they are more attractive without makeup.

I think many women who wear makeup really like the way it looks. Some women pencil in their eyebrows (because they don't have any), or wear fake eyelashes, loads of mascara, concealer or powder (or both), lipliner, lipstick, blush, eyeshadow and eyeliner. Some people think this is very appealing. Some women need to present themselves this way because they are too embarassed to show what they have underneath all the makeup.
I like the way I look without makeup. Many women look better with makeup on. It's really all about preference.

I think a little lip gloss with daytime wear is nice. For an evening out, some lipstick with subtle eye shade and liner can be quite attractive.

i can understand the reasons for why people dont want women to wear makeup but does it really matter i feel makeup is a way of you expressing ur own style with the different colours n styles is that a bad thing?

Guys who say they don't like women with make-up on are lying. When you see any woman she probably has something on. The guys who say they don't like there partner, or wife with make-up on is either insecure, has a partner, or wife that does not know how to put make-up on. Make-up is not meant to be a mask anyway. It is suppose to accentuate your natural features. I don't wear make-up most of the time, but sometimes I do.

I have to say I agree But some women have been wearing make up for soooo Long that they NEED it or they look dead.. I have a friend since high school who is pretty, very good looking but without make up she doesn't look so good.. I have to agree with her and tell her to put some make up on.. I on the other just wore gloss or lipstick so my skin doe'snt look as dead as hers..
It depends on the Women...

Sure, makeup is only to hide womens ugly features.
And who wants a woman with a load of powder and paint all over her face?
Natural is much better.
