Are they people with out common sense?
Are they people who are mean spirited?
Are they lazy, dirty pigs, & their place looks like an eye sore?
Are they on drugs (or selling them), alcoholics, or loud people?
Do they have screaming, trouble making, or brats for kids?
Do their pets run wild into your yard?
Are they just too weird for words?
Has dealing with them (or having them next door) cost you money, sleep, or any thing else?

Are they constantly causing problems for you?
Who has the best (yet, worst) neighbor story?
(Mine is a never-ending story!)

I had a neighbor who took a sledgehammer to some decorative rocks I had in my front yard because God, in a dream, told her there was gold in them. She also ranted endlessly about how her husband was poisoning her coffee. Eventually, I moved.

I have had some really great neighbor's. Seems like the ones that had the most problems were usually the ones with the best personalities. I've had some neighbor's that have cost me some money. They were the type that would borrow stuff and not bring it back. This wasn't much of a problem, I probably needed a new or better one of what ever it was anyway.

Neighbor's are a lot like family and you have to take the good with the bad.

Me. I used to be good friends with my neighbour. She has 5 kids, all grown up now,and I used to babysit for free. Then she decided to kick her husband out and take 20 years off her age by wearing pvc hotpants, stuff like that, and bringing home a different guy every night. I asked her to do something about her sons "thumping" music, same track played full blast for up to 12 hours each day. She just told me to report him to the landlord.Waited months before doing this, hoping thing would change. When I made the report, she accused me of trying to get her out. Have'nt spoken since. Her "kids" aged between 18 and 28 have thrown loads of junk into our yard, bottles on our doorstep, got their friends to annoy us. They ring up and laugh down the phone in the middle of the night. They knew my mother was dying of cancer and had come home for her last few days,so the music started all over again. There's tons of stuff they've done, but they always manage to get away with things. I really hate them, but I'm staying put in this house.

I had many neighbors, some more crazy then others, but one of them left special mark - I never heard of anything similar. While I wa s youngster, we had neighbors living above us, nice old couple. Suddenly, we started to get lots of floods in our apartmant, because our water pipes seemed to get jammed all the time. We found out why - old couple was growing mushrooms in the bathtub, so the dirt went into drains....It took some effort to convince them to take on other type of "gardening"

WOW...almost everything you just said describes my neighbors, accept the child part...I am the one with the screaming child. The thing that drives me crazy is the fact that they let their dog poop all over the back yard that we share. My son stepped in the poop one day and I had to confront them about it. Even after that they let it continue, I am ending my lease as soon as it's up. They treat the place like a frat house and I am fed up.

I like my neighbors. One one side is Mark, who's a photographer and feeds our cats when we're out of town. On the other side is three young guys who are in a band together. They never play too late, and the music drifting through the windows is nice. :D

My neighbor is obsessed with his lawn and has to be the last one in the neighborhood to mow. If my lawn guy comes late in the day and mows my neighbor will get out his mower and mow his lawn all over again even if he just mowed earlier that same day.
