I need to know just so that I know that one of my heroes (and my kids hero) didn't die for nothing.
I recently watched the memorial show for Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) live with my kids we were all in tears
I just need to know that the message for world and animal conservation got across to the world

Steven Irwin was a great man that touched the hearts of many people around the world. I honestly think his message will live on in the hearts of everyone that life he changed. He is my hero and always will be. I know I will continue my work with wildlife conservation. If you do things to continue his work and if ever person that considered him a hero does the same he will live on. And this world will grow to be a better place not just for wildlife but for every living thing that walks on earth.

Even though I question some of his on-air antics,I think what Steve did behind the scenes did much for animal conservation.I hope his legacy will live on in all of us.
Aside from the conservation message,we should all realize wild animals are just that, wild. The more you have contact with wild animals the more of a chance you'll get hurt by one.

I definitely hope so! God bless Steve and his family...It was wonderful seeing Bindi being so brave and holding herself together speaking about her daddy. It was very touching....goes to show us just how strong children are and how much better at understanding things they are, than we think they're capable of. I know that Steves message will carry on throughout the world. Crocs Rule!!

I think it did. He did a lot for conservation & educated people about animals they might have never seen. I just didn't like when he had his newborn baby in his arm near that crocodile. If you want to risk your own life, fine, but don't put a baby in harm's way.

I think it did. He made us more aware, not only of the animals, but of their environments and the planet.
