I don't think that most gays and lesbians hate, or even dislike, each other.
Although we often work together for a common cause, gay men and lesbians have two separate cultures and therefore tend to stay inside their respective circles.

Generally. I just don't think it's true. Sure there are lesbians who don't like gay men. There are some gay men I don't like either. And there have been lesbians I couldn't stand. But they are in a minority. It is strange however that most of the gay men I know have a best female friend and in about 95% cases, they are straight girls. I find that most straight females get along great with gay men. So I find it odd, if you being bisexual, that you do not like most gay men. Perhaps, since you say you prefer chicks to men, that when you show interest in a straight man at all, it is strictly for sex - not a relationship. Just a thought! I am certainly not trying to put you down, so please don't take offense.

In all honesty, I do not have that many gay male friends. Only a couple and they are great people. Love them to pieces actually. In all reality I can relate to some things better with a GAY man than I can females...gay or straight! I've always heard that a gay man is a girl's best friend. The two gay men that I know are amazing and I love them!!!

Sometimes yes. I think it's more that, besides a preference for the same sex, we don't have a lot in common as groups. We share political issues, for sure, but if you think about lesbian culture as opposed to gay male culture, you'll find a lot of differences.

My Maid of Honor at my Wedding was my Best Gay Boy - he is my best friend (besides my wife). My social circle is about 97% gay, but half and half on the male to female ratio. Hope that helps!

well not everyone thinks alike. many gay men loves and hates various of things, vice versa for everything else. so really no, gay people and lesbians do not secretly hate each other. it's just too ridiculous. that's like saying straight men hates straight women.

I have both lesbian and gay friends...and we all get along great (I have straight friends, too). I have no preference, although more of my friends are female. I don't hate men at all....I'm just not physically attracted to them. but I can be friends with them.

I think gay guys who are well groomed find loud butch looking lesbians a bit offensive looking, but then so do I and I'm straight.

Are you kidding me? I LOVE gay men. I have a lot of gay acquaintances. Some of them are drama queens, but they're all really cool in their own unique way :)
