My sister was the roommate of a now (former) friend of mine. We became distant towards the ending of their lease. During the last few months of their lease the distant friend and I didn't click anymore. I no longer speak as nearly as I used to, I just don't feel comfortable doing it; I get that vibe. Anyway, My sis moved out in May verbally agreeing to pay June/July rent(Paid) no utilities. That would b taken care of by the roommate. The lease was also 2 b re-signed w/o my sister's name.My sis calls and asked if she can have an extra day or two before moving the rest of her things. My sis is given a deadline(which is understandable), but nothin about the lights were mentioned.Middle of Aug., the utility comp. phones my sis asking why she hasn't paid her last 2 bills, one for July and Aug. My sis name is still on lights because friend didn't want 2 pay a deposit. My sis paid the bill to clear her credit. turned lights off. She wants her $$, roommate won't phone back.Friend or not

Be careful of who you chose as a room mate next time and get all agreements in writing.

tiem to move out and leave her high and dry/Pay your sister and get a place where you can afford ot live. If she dont wanna pay then MOve her out and you pay it all.Either way you will not be dealing with the loser naymore and a free loader.Either she pays her hsrae or she is out.If she cant pay make her sign an agreemnt to repay her share or she is out!
