i have 4 friends 3 of them are my fellow geeks from school and the 4th is a hobo that lives in the subway ,i spend most of my time playing video games and when i hang out with my friends we always go to the arcade so am i a loser ???

NO!! I've always believed in having on a very few close friends and a lot of aquantainces. Life is safer that way. If you trust too many people at once you could get mutilated.
