Jason will sit out because of the wrist injury. Derek will play because he is going after a batting title as well as an MVP award. A-Rod is showing signs of life with his bat so you have to keep him in there for most of the remaining games. They won't rest everyone but rather rotate a few key positions for the rest of the season. They have to keep sharp because the first round of the playoffs is only a 5 game set and anything can happen in a short series.

If i had to checklist them precise now, i could bypass a million. crimson Sox 2. Yankees 3. Rays precise to backside, the Yankees, ON PAPER, are the greater powerful rotation crimson Sox J. Beckett D. Matsuzaka J. Lester T. Wakefield B. Penny Yankees C. Sabathia A. Burnett C. Wang A. Pettitte J. Chamberlain Rays S. Kazmir J. Shields M. Garza A. Sonnanstine J. Niemann (Jackson is in AAA) I in trouble-free terms positioned the Sox earlier than my Yankees because of the fact they are conflict examined. a hard hard team. yet whilst All 3 communities are healthy and pitch to their mid-variety point, no longer even their suitable.. The Yankees are greater powerful than the different 2. The Yankees Pitching Is the suitable in no longer in trouble-free terms the AL yet All of Baseball, IF IT PITCHES TO ITS means. Any Rotation that has Andy Pettite as a 4 and Joba Chamberlain as a 5, is sickeningly Deep. yet That mentioned, the crimson Sox have executed it earlier, so they get my nod, till shown otherwise. Edit: That guy, You cant do this lol.. you cant use "injuries" as a reason or a flaw LOL. because of the fact noone is conscious who gets harm and who wont.....thats nuts. For you, Lily and Zambrano and wealthy Harden are continuously harm, does that mean they gets harm this 12 months? thats enjoying psychic.... can no longer do this.. booo booo hissssss undesirable type, baaaddd type! :-)

They will probably give them more days off now, but they still want to win so they can clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I would say they'll play tonight and every night until after they clinch home field advantage.
After that, they might take it a little easier.

Torre wanted to give every starter two days off. (Wed and Thurs or Thurs and Fri) Jeter and Rodriguez both played Wed so they were not and did not play yesterday.
The truth is that not every starter got two days off; Damon had all three days off, Cano had 1 1/2 (DH yesterday), and Cabrera had only one day off (which was Thurs, the off day).
