Metallica "Wherever I May Roam" -It is one of my favorite songs from the "Black Album" of Metallica. Sometimes that I can never get to my dream home of Georgia and that I must continue to roam as a "nomad" or "vagabond" to reach my dream state of Georgia. Also, I usually get in trouble driving while listening to this song. By breaking the speed limit.
Metallica "I Disappear"- Another song that I love from Metallica that was on the Mission Impossible 2 Original Soundtrack. The reason that I love that song if you seen the video is because of the carnage that I experience from my life and not to be succumb by it but to simply overcome and move forward.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers "You Got Lucky"- This song come from the "Long After Dark" album and the reason that I love this song is because I never had a girlfriend for a long time until five years ago. That is the reason for this song and in the lyrics it was mentioned by the lead singer himself.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers "I Won't Back Down"- This song from their album "Full Moon Fever" in which someone you truly love or anybody else for that matter takes something from you your dreams, your beliefs or something that gives you passion in anything that you want to come to pass. I love that song because I can tell that person, "that you can't tell me that I can't do anything in life and that I will show you just to shut you up".
Devo "Peek-A-Boo"- Sometimes you need to become crazy to listen to this 80's group and there are few that I like since I can't stand the 80's personally. The reason for this song on Devo's "Oh, No! It's Devo" is pure and simple to continue to be "insane" to get past the decade that I HATED with passion. The video was pretty wild and crazy (with a touch of innocence) back compared to our high octane standards of the 00's.
Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter"- The reason for the song from the Stones' "Let It Bleed" is if you ever seen the movie "Casino" then that was an appropriate ending song for that movie. "Casino is one of the many movies that I love from Robert De Niro.
Hey you killing me because there are so many songs from so many artists that I love and that makes me who I am. A crazy PIscean who is a survivor in life. Sayonara!!!

~Rush~
They have been my favorite band since the "Fly By Night" album in 1975. (I was 13 years old.) I grew up listening to Rush. They are basically the soundtrack of my life. There's so much excellent material to chose from. But if I had to pick just three songs....
"La Villa Strangiato"
"Natural Science"
"Xanadu"
~Dream Theater~
The best "Progressive Metal" band around.
"Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence"
"Erotomania"
"Metropolis Part 1"
~The Flower Kings~
Carrying on in the "Symphonic Prog" footsteps of Genesis and Yes.
"Dissonata"
"Cirqus Brimstone"
"Deaf, Numb & Blind"
~Genesis~
They were the best English "Prog" band of the '70's (Along with Yes.) Once Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett left the band, they went in a more commercial pop flavored direction. I never cared for them after that.
"The Return Of The Giant Hogweed"
"Dancing With The Moonlit Knight"
"The Musical Box"
Also...
Yes
Eric Johnson
Joe Satriani
Spock's Beard
UFO

My favorite Band is MercyMe and my favorite song is "So Long Self" the reason I love that song so much is because it talks about leaving your old self behind and becoming a new person for God. It means a lot to me because I did just the same thing.

Hole....Asking for It is my favorite. Her songs are so angry and have so much passion. I just feel better after singing one of her albums out loud!
Tori Amos.....After all these years....Her songs allow me to cry when I need to but can't. They just touch me.
Dokken- They take me back to the 80's, back to being 16 without a care in the world!! Back to when having the biggest hair and the shortest skirt was all you needed!!!
Kiss of Death is one of my favorites. It was the first song they played when I saw them open for Aerosmith in 1987.

Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Rush.
Too many songs by each but I feel each of these are cutting edge and have a distinct style of their own.
No... no particular meaning. To me, music is a means of escape from my day to day life so I try not to tie it in to my own reality.
