O.K. Guns and Moses is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time!!!
I don't think celebs talk politics enough at all. I figure if they pay their taxes and are US citizens they are entitled to their opinion and if their celebrity status gives them more exposure than so be it. You know really it's that whiny Fox News that has such problems with it . Because they pay a bunch political rejects (D-list Pundits), (Bob Novak, G Gordon Liddy, Judge Napolitano) to present the conservative view and the implication is that they are more knowledgeable than the rest of the nation about the issues. They can't stand it when reasonable (and some unreasonable) regular people have a more visible platform than they do or are taken seriously by anyone. Because they like to consider themselves "news" instead of the pretentious drone of conservative nonsense that they are, with a little actual news thrown in. I wish I had a dime everytime one of their "personalities" uses prescious airtime to plug one of their silly books that they are hardly smart enough to write themselves. However, I say if you pay your taxes you very well have every right to share your opinion, however you choose or are able to do it within the law and I don't have to think it's particularly intelligent or thoughtful, I can make my own mind up about it. I know crap when I hear it. And there's a ton of crap on both sides. Fox news is a steady 24 hour stream of conservative crap. I enjoy watching it everyday. It's better than Comedy Central. You can't even get angry at something so pathetic and illogical. I mean I'm a liberal and I still know that there are some liberals completely off their rocker. For instance the ones that defend illegal aliens in our country taking jobs and tipping the labor market to new low. Any conservative that is too stupid to realize that Sean Hannity is not intellectually able to win an argument by asking one linear question at a time, deserves to get their "news" from Fox. I plan my menus whenever Charles Schumer (D) opens his mouth because I know he has nothing important to say. I also know that Bill O Reilley is more a comic than a political commentator and enjoy him for what he is. Laughable and the former host of tabloid show. I mean really, he's nothing more than an ugly Ryan Seacrest. People have bigger and more personal problems and really don't have time to sympathize with the whimpering conservatives anymore. Yeah it's unfair that celebrities are allowed to say something other than their scripted lines and step out of their celluloid world and be real contributing Americans with a captive audience interested in their opinion and their varying degrees of political knowledge. I think it's unfair (and frankly hard to witness) that Sean Hannity gets an hour, 5 nights a week to be completely ignorant and crass, but he does and life goes on. God Bless America!

No. the Republicans can somewhat scrape collectively 2 bits. real, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Republican, and a member in reliable status of the Hollywood community. And the Republicans Mel Gibson, Charlton Heston, Tom Selleck, Bruce Willis, Shannen Doherty, Chuck Norris, and Kelsey Grammer stay in Hollywood. yet even with the outsize presence of Schwarzenegger, what the Republicans grant isn't plenty. in the industry the left-leaning is so pervasive that the former intercourse kitten Bo Derek, named to the board of the Kennedy midsection by using George W. Bush, complains that she is dealt with as "some hateful monster" by using Hollywood liberals, and says, "i'm informed i will never paintings lower back."

For some reason they never seem to factor in that there are many conservatives in Hollywood. Hollywood is all about making money and what sells. That in itself is a more Republican idea of business. The fact that a few well know artists are vocal about their liberal views should brand the whole industry as liberals. If you notice they do the same thing when it comes to the media.

Most celebrities who stand out and yell the loudest are left wing which is why they are so easy to point out as bad examples. Most too also just yell to be heard rather than to actually make a difference.

most right leaning celebs only stand out during the presidential campaigns, or when they themselves are in a position to actually do something, i.e. Reagan running for offices, Heston's position w/in the NRA

I am selective with my mocking. I don't mock Bill Maher, even though I disagree with 90% of his viewpoints. He clearly is intelligent, gathers facts to support his opinion, and uses decent logic and humor to make his points.

Other celebrities such as Barbra Streisand, Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, Janeane Garafalo, Sean Penn, George Clooney, and many, many. more seem to be rather, well, dimwitted. They pontificate based on their celebrity, not their intellect or wisdom. For this they deserve to be mocked.

In that vein, I think Ahnuld deserves a little mocking, although he can be darn funny (but so can Janeane, but she is a twit).

No we only mock the whack job celebs that think it is cool to have babies out of wedlock and tote them around like accessories. As well as the one that run to Cuba and other dictatorships and kiss ***.
