FORGIVE HIM FOR NOT BEING RIGHT FOR YOU. FORGIVE YOURSELF FOR NOT BEING RIGHT FOR HIM. THANK HIM FOR TEACHING YOU MORE ABOUT YOURSELF. HE TAUGHT YOU MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT/NEED FROM SOMEONE, AND WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE. HE GAVE YOU WISDOM, AND YOUR FREEDOM TO FIND A GUY WHO IS RIGHT FOR YOU. NOW YOU HAVE MORE EXPERIENCE WITH WHAT KIDS OF GUYS TO AVOID. BE GLAD HE IS SOMEBODY ELSE'S PROBLEM TO DEAL WITH NOW. HE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN YOURHEART, BUT YOU WILL MOVE ON AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS MORE SUITABLE TO FULFILL YOU. AND WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE AND NEWFOUND WISDOM, YOU ARE BETTER ABLE TO SPOT SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO GIVE TO YOU RATHER THAN TAKE FROM YOU. WHEN YOU FIND A GUY WHO IS SO GOOD TO YOU THAT YOU WANT TO BRAG TO YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT HIM, KEEP THAT GUY AROUND. THERE ARE MANY OUT THERE. EACH EMOTIONAL INVOLVEMENT WILL TEACH YOU MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED FROM SOMEONE. EACH ONE WILL GIVE YOU MORE EXPERIENCE AND WISDOM. EACH HEARTBREAK WILL SHOW YOU MORE ABOUT WHAT KINDS OF GUYS TO BECOME EMOTIONALLY INVESTED WITH, (OR NOT).

Pandora that was such a great answer that I don't even know what else to say about this question. I know that if I truly let my ex go and moved on with my life I will be so much happier. It does seem really difficult sometimes because I've been with him so long that I think I've gotten comfortable with the misery. I think a lot of people do. But he has taught me a lot about men and because of him I now know what I really want.

If they are your ex, then the worst part is over. If you really want to let go there is nothing hard about it. Just go, no phone calls no nothing. That is the only way you will ever do it, just stay away from the places where you might run into them,try to avoid them, at least untill you are over them.

Sometimes in my case I can't let go because I love her too much, I love my wife just as much but can't let go of my ex. I am emotionally tied to my ex for life, and anything she needs that I can provide she will have from me.

It is very different, You can tell yourself over and over again how to let him/her go, but when you see that person the fillings that you still have for that person come flooding back... I can't tell you what to do because I'm caught up in the same situation, but I can tell you that talking to your friends about it is a very big help

disagree. if u want to let go of an ex, it won't be difficult to do it. now if u like the ex, and but they were treating u bad and u know its wrong to be with him, that's hard to let go.
