18. Most tattoo shops won't even let you walk through the door if you are under 15-16 even with a parrent. If you find someone to do a tattoo on a 7yr old then they are probably not licenced by the state and that is a good way to have him end up with hepatitis, AIDS or a nasty staph infection.

The youngest is 17, because a 16 year old is too young, they won't know what to get and later in life they will regret their decision on what they got. I think a 17 year old is more mature and will know what they want and where they want it. It’s really based on maturity…

I let my daughter get hers when she was 17. Teens today are a lot different and have a lot more peer pressure than we did. You need to get with the times and allow your children a little more freedom..They grow up much quicker than we did. And wouldn't you want to be there with them and to know it is a good place rather than them rebelling and going to get one on their own at a dirty place?

Here's a suggestion. Tell him that he can have any tatoo he wants and he can have it exactly one year from that date. He'll never get one.

well 7 is entirely too young..they have to be capable to make lasting choices....did you explain to him that once this is done...once he gets the tat...then it is harder to get it removed then it is to get a divorce most of the time?....i would wait until you think that your child is very selfaware...i mean i am 19 and have chickened out at least 4 times about getting a tattoo...

85. It's always dumb to get permanently mutilated for the sake of what might be a temporary fad. Look into the kind that can be washed off, or "henna."
