I am trying to figure out the title of the job of the people who deliver fuel to fuel stations. I want to find a job like this when I get out of the Army. If you have any other HAZMAT type job ideas, feel free to share.

Perhaps I didn't explain my question very well. I gave a description, I need the job title. I know it's a truck driver, but you can't find this job on monster or hotjobs under "truck driver". I need to know either the specific job title or a company that is contracted to do this work. I already have a CDL and my HAZMAT certifier endorsement. Thanks

Yep truck drivers. But to deliver fuel you will need a special endorsement other than the CDL wich is the drivers license for truck drivers. you will need the endorsement to be able to deliver hazard materials.

1) HAZMAT
2) Doubles/Triples (Combination)

You would be a truck driver with HAZMAT endorsements. If you could find a job at one of these companies I would go for it , they are probably the only ones to pay what your worth. My company runs import and export frieght and HAZMAT drivers dont make any more money. It could just be my part of the industry but I dont know.

I knew someone who used to own a gas station, and they said truck driver also.

Historical Earnings Information

Most hazardous materials workers are paid hourly. The majority of workers made between $12.30/hour and $22.20/hour in 2002 with a median of $15.60/hour. The lowest tenth on the pay scale made under $10.30/hour and the highest made over $26.60/hour.

Probably the best place to look is at the Department of Labor. You would need to be certified to handle hazardous materials.
