I have been checked out by my gynecologist and I know that I do not have any infections that I myself would have an odor problem, but it seems that everytime I have sex with my husband and he comes inside, I have to take a shower because of this "smell."
I do have the Mirena and I don't know if that would affect it or not.

It's probably the smell the combination of his semen and your vaginal secretions. A different smell down there is completely normal. I had Mirena and the NuvaRing and it didn't change the smell. The only things that change it are the days of your menstrual cycle. Mine usually smells worse right at the end of a period.

One of the most common causes of vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis (BV), a type of vaginitis. BV results from an overgrowth of one or several organisms that are normally present in your vagina. As certain organisms multiply, they produce chemicals that cause a fish-like odor characteristic of BV. The odor may be more obvious after sexual intercourse.
Other causes of vaginal odor include:
Rarely, advanced tumors of the cervix or vagina
