I saw him perform like 6 times at the Improv before he got his Show on Comedy central and that is his material.. He makes fun of his own race as well as others and he has a good point that sometimes other people dont like to touch.. I dont think he is racist because he is diverse with his poking fun of others.
I have seen him twice now that he made it big and He is the same and sometimes funnier. I do feel he sometimes goes overboard on his comedy but that is what makes him Carlos.
By the way he IS mexican because him mother is Mexican and his dad is from Honduras.

I think he is funny and if a white comedian does it right, they can get away with making racial slurs as well! There is a difference between real racism and comedy! And for proof about the white comedy thing check out Lisa Lampanelli. A white woman who gets away with making fun of EVERYONE. Oh, and the thing about most comedians is that they are not afraid to make fun of themsleves. I have heard both Lisa and Carlos make fun of their own race, and in my opinion it's DAMN funny!

He empowers the races by bringing racism into the comic realm. If we can laugh at it, we can understand it. He is making people realize how ridiculous racism is. He's not even the first. Comics from Eddie Murphy to Chris Rock to Lisa Lampenelli to even Robin Williams have poked fun at racism, sexism, and any other -ism you can come up with and they are some of our most beloved comedians.
Comedy opens people's eyes to the ridiculous hypocrisies that plague our society, and put them up front where you can't hide from them...
Keep it up Carlos!

I don't believe he's racist...but if a white guy did that, you know he wouldn't stay on the air for long. It's not racist to acknowledge that people are different...and I believe he's said that before. The thing is these days, is that people are too sensitive to race. People are fundamentally the same, but they're different and there's nothing wrong with that. Of course racism does exist...but there's more to it than cracking jokes and stuff...that's just having fun.

Carlos says what he most people think. He's not afraid to be honest and doesn't worry about being pc. He's not a racist. He's a comedian, and I find myself saying 'that's right' all the time during his show. Carlos rules.

No he isn't a racist. I've never heard him say his own race is better than any other.
However, do I think he buys into stereotypes? Yes. And it's usually hilarious.......because they are, for the most part, TRUE.
There's a huge difference between being a racist and being prejudiced.

First of all there is NO SUCH THING AS "REVERSE" RACISM.
Racism is racism whether its coming from a black person a white person a latino or whomever. Sorry but i really cant stand it when people call it "reverse" racism

No, I don't believe he is racist. He makes fun of everyone equally - some of his stand-up shows are hilarious. Treating everyone equally is the exact opposite of racism, he just makes fun of them.

i honestly think he is xtremely funny and straight to the point. he makes fun of everyone the same but his point on white americans always stereotyping latins into thinking they all have to be from mexico, drug leaders, ho's, bad eduacted, and from low-income, well they are very badly mistaken, but unfortunely we all live in a country where even if we dont want to admit it, we place more evidence on how a person looks like than where they are from.
