Go play at the beach! I live on the coast and whenever I need to de-stress I go for a walk on the beach, play in the waves, watch the sunset, etc. It's a medically proven stress reliever!

Depends on where you live and what's causing the stress.If it's warm (Southern States) and you're near a beach or waterfront, spend a day by the beach.
If it's cooler, take a drive or a walk and look at the changing colours of the leaves.
Stay in bed and read a good book while playing some easy listening music.
Treat yourself to a Spa day.
If you have a friend, spend the day doing what you want with him/her.
Go dancing/clubbing.
Go shopping

What do you REALLY like to do? Think of your favorite pasttime, is it being outdoors? Shopping? Reading? Listening to Music? Driving in a car? Visiting friends or family? Going to the beach? the mountains? Praying?
Think of something YOU like to do but don't do enough of. Invite a friend or two... or go alone. But cut out a specific time to do it and don't let anything get in the way!

If the weather is good take a good book, a picnic lunch and visit your local park and enjoy fresh air and sunshine. It is a great way to de-stress and improve your mood. Not to mention inexpensive!
